Huilin Chen, known fondly as Lin among her Indian students is the Founder of EduCare India — an organization committed to helping Indian students access world-class education opportunities in Asia – starting with Taiwan & Japan with honesty, affordability, and care.
Huilin Chen’s academic journey reflects her global outlook and passion for continuous learning. She completed her undergraduate studies at Nagoya University, Japan — one of Japan’s top research universities and a powerhouse for engineering and semiconductor science. She later pursued language studies in Germany, followed by an MBA in the United States, gaining academic and cultural exposure across three continents.
With an international background spanning Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, the USA, India, and Dubai, Huilin brings a truly global perspective to her work. Her passion for ethical education consulting was shaped by what she witnessed in 2017 — the widespread practice of education agents in India prioritizing commissions over students’ best interests.
Motivated by a desire to bring transparency to the study abroad process, she founded EduCare Taiwan in 2018. Since then, her mission has been simple yet powerful: to ensure that students receive unbiased guidance based on their true potential, academic interests, and long-term career goals — not on commercial incentives.
Under her leadership, EduCare Taiwan has become a trusted resource for hundreds of Indian students aspiring to study in Taiwan’s top universities.
💼 12 Years In The Semiconductor Industry
Lin spent 12 years as a consultant in the global semiconductor industry — placing senior executives and highly skilled engineers at the world’s leading chip companies. This gave her a rare combination of deep academic knowledge and real-world industry insight that very few education consultants possess.
💡 The Moment That Changed Everything
While working closely with Indian professionals, Lin witnessed something troubling. Education agents were steering students toward universities that paid the highest commissions, not the ones that genuinely suited them. She knew she had to do something about it.
In 2018, she founded EduCare Taiwan (parent organization of EduCare India) with one non-negotiable rule — no commissions, ever. Every admission is based solely on the student’s eligibility, CGPA, research interests, career goals, and budget. What started in Taiwan has now expanded to Japan, driven by the same founding values.
