Meet Huilin Chen, Founder of EduCare Taiwan
Huilin Chen, known fondly as Lin among her Indian friends, is the Founder of EduCare Taiwan — an organization committed to helping Indian students access world-class education opportunities in Taiwan with honesty, affordability, and care.
With an international background spanning Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, the USA, India, and Dubai, Huilin brings a truly global perspective to her work. Her passion for ethical education consulting was shaped by what she witnessed in 2017 — the widespread practice of education agents in India prioritizing commissions over students’ best interests.
Motivated by a desire to bring transparency to the study abroad process, she founded EduCare Taiwan in 2018. Since then, her mission has been simple yet powerful: to ensure that students receive unbiased guidance based on their true potential, academic interests, and long-term career goals — not on commercial incentives.
Under her leadership, EduCare Taiwan has become a trusted resource for hundreds of Indian students aspiring to study in Taiwan’s top universities.
Academic and Professional Background
Huilin Chen’s academic journey reflects her global outlook and passion for continuous learning. She completed her undergraduate studies at Nagoya University in Japan, followed by language studies in Germany, where she learned German. She later earned her MBA in the United States, gaining both academic and cultural exposure across continents.
For the past 12 years, Huilin has worked as a search consultant in the semiconductor industry, specializing in the recruitment of senior executives and highly skilled engineers.
Despite her success in the corporate world, Huilin finds her greatest fulfillment in supporting students. Through EduCare Taiwan, she and her team are committed to providing students with more than just admission guidance — they help students access scholarships, explore career opportunities, and experience personal and professional growth while studying in Taiwan.
